March 2011 Gun Store of a Different Caliber
Last Resort Guns set out in March of 2011 with the goal of being a gun store of a different caliber. Our philosophy is simple: identify every customer's unique needs and ensure those needs are satisfied through sales, special orders, or just good honest advice. Making a sale is not the most important objective at Last Resort Guns. Pleasing every customer is our only important goal. September 2013 Our New Facility
Our current, custom-built, state-of-the-art facility is the culmination of years of planning and preparation. We moved in on September 2013. From the ground up, this facility was designed to provide Madison with the best firearms, range, accessories, and training classes in one location.
January 2014 Grand Opening
On Friday, 31 January, Last Resort Guns celebrated the Grand Opening of our current facility. We were honored with the presence of Alabama State Senator Bill Holtzclaw and Madison Mayor Troy Trulock.

Russ Durling OWNER AND CEO
An entrepreneur and a 24-year veteran of the Royal Air Force, Russ Durling is one of the Co-Founders of Last Resort Guns.
Andy Jones OWNER
Engineer and Co-Founder of Last Resort Guns with 18 years of service in the Royal Air Force. Andy Jones is proud to have become an American citizen in 2013!
Gene Stepko OWNER
Gene Stepko served 21 years in the US Air Force. As an officer and pilot, he flew B-52 and T-38 aircraft.
Wayne Miller GENERAL MANAGER
Wayne Miller is a veteran of the US Air Force and retired from Procter and Gamble with 27 years of retail and marketing experience.
